Shipping, Packaging and Frequently Asked Questions

Packaging and Shipping
Packaging is an important part of the delivery, since it ensures that all of the effort, time and the investments are kept safe.
In order to that I usually do the packaging of larger works in a wooden box. The small works can be sent without a wooden box but with an appropriate packaging.
The costs of packaging and shipping are done by clients.
The costs are different regarding the size of the artworks and the country.
In order to know the price, I should enquire about it and let you know.
It usually takes 14 work days for the package to be received by the client.

Frequently asked questions

-How much time does it take for a work to get finished?
A single work will take up to 6 or 8 weeks to get finished. However, sometimes it may take more time if I am working on multiple pieces.
You should consider the time it takes to start to give the commission (approximately one week), the commission process (8 weeks), and the shipping (approximately 14 work days).
And when you have the painting, you should consider the time it takes for framing.

I recommend if you want the painting for a particular occasion to be hanged, or to give it as a gift, submit your request for the commission even sooner than the time you want to receive it.

-Is it possible to remove the bridle or instead of a bridle, paint a halter ?
I recommend that you send me the pictures of your horse with the features that you want. However, if you don’t have access to the horse, if it is sold or is passed away, I will make the painting like your preferences.
You need to send me other pictures of your horse, and also the type of the halter that you prefer.

-Do I share commissions on social media?
I usually share the process of my works and the finished results on my social channels.
However, I share the process of the commissioned artworks with the permission of the client. And I post the results of works as a celebration.
If the artwork is going to be meant as a gift, I won’t share the pictures of the artwork in progress. However, after the present is given, I post the result with permission, or with the suggestion of the clients that I post it when the present is revealed.

How to start giving a portrait commission?

We will go through the stages of commissioning step by step and I will make sure that you will have a comfortable experience throughout the commissioning and in the process. Also I am available to receive your messages or questions to help you with them.

- The first step is to send me a message in relation to your request for commission.

- Please take a look at my gallery webpage. There are plenty of example of my pieces and portraits.
Choose your favorite work/works and send it/them to me. In this way I will know what type of work you are more interested in. Or if you are familiar with me from my social media, send me your favorite works in the posts.

- Choose the pictures of your horse that you like them most to be transferred to an artwork and send them to me.
Also tell me a little about your horse. If there are special features of your horse that you have in mind to be shown in the artwork please discuss it with me.

- I will review your pictures and I will make some- previews of works with them. And I will send the previews to you in a few days.
Then you choose your favorite one from those and will let me know. We also talk about the size and dimensions of the work.
We will make a contract and when a deposit of 50% is received, the work will be ready to get started.
