About me
Introduction about my artistic aspect
I am Elnaz Delnava and I live in Tehran. I had a desire for doing art from childhood and I was encouraged in it by my family, teachers and classmates at school.
My academic studies in Architecture and having lessons about art elements, designing, sketching, model making, and the educations we had, were great influences on me for my decision to also study and practice art and making landscape and equine artworks beside my major, for having a desire to become an artist.
I used to go to horse riding classes 14 years ago. To learn how to ride horses properly, I started reading books and magazines, watching equestrian games to analyze ridings. I did not have enough time to put on my riding. However, they made me eager to draw and paint them to show my passion.
I am studying and doing paintings for 14 years, about landscapes, cityscapes, and equine and equestrian sports.

Paard Verzameld masterclass
2024
Joining Paard Verzameld collective, PV art challenges and masterclasses, also being coached by Joyce Ter Horst (equine art curator and founder of Paard Verzameld) her support, guidance and insights, were great influences on me for my progression as an equine and equestrian artist.
I have participated in several group art exhibitions in Tehran, including Tehran Art Fair in 2023.
Since learning is endless, I'm still seeking for more, and to progress more in my art.
I'm glad that I can connect to horses, through my art and to show my passion about them in this way.
